Uwharrie Chair: Outdoor Chairs, Benches and Tables
:: Variety of collections :: Pine or recycled polymer :: Built to last :: Many finishes
Uwharrie Chair Company has a large selection of chairs, tables, benches and rockers that are perfect for your front porch or outdoor setting. All have many finish color options, and several collections offer fitted cushions with many fabric options.
Their chair collections are built in High Point, NC from hand selected, pressure treated pine or premium Uwharrie Polymer made from recycled material. The pine is one inch thick, plantation grown, and kiln-dried after treated. The polymer is recycled pre-consumer vinyl, milled to shape, and may be painted with one of their 28 colors.
Designed with rustic charm and relaxation in mind, several lines have crisp, modern evolution. We really like the Wave Collection, the Chat Collection, and the Malibu Collection – these would also make really fun office furniture or waiting room seating. Made in USA!

EZ Haul: Two Companies with Same Name Both Make Carts
::One uses rigid poly tubs ::One makes industrial welded metal
I’m going to go out on a limb and feature both of these American companies – they have the same name, they are both in California, and they also have similar products! EZ Haul Carts have plastic liners similar to wheelbarrows, but have different functions, tipping actions and wheel types. They have been making and evolving their carts since 1986 for gardeners, landscapers, and for interior uses. They have a slim type that is narrow to fit through doorways and likely works nicely for hauling trash through a building interior. Another cart is designed for hauling and can hook up to your EZ Go or tractor.
This one has prices listed (which is more convenient than the other EZ Haul):

The other EZ Haul offers more industrial-strength powder-coated metal carts for plant nurseries (multiple-tiered rolling shelves), display racks, hand trucks, wagons with removable sides, and work carts in expanded metal or solid metal sheeting. This company also offers custom trailers and carts, and unfortunately does not have prices listed on their website. Give them a holler at their toll-free number if you are interested, though – they have a lot to offer!

Made in USA! *QUIZ* – Which EZ Haul makes the collapsible and folding gardening cart?
Dramm: Lawn and Garden Watering Tools
::Lively Colors ::Sturdy Construction ::Good Pricing ::Proud
Dramm doesn’t make all their watering products in the USA, but they certainly do make it clear on their website the ones that they do make here!
We bought their 5-Liter watering can that is remarkably high-volume.
Even though a high flow-rate of water comes through the many tiny holes, the flow is gentle enough not to destroy your flowers and delicate plant leaves. It’s hard to see the scale in the product photos, because the cans all have similar proportions… just double-check volumes when ordering.
As of this writing, our image comp covers most of their Made in USA products, however we found a few of the simpler nozzles, valves and breakers on Amazon that are made in USA. Hopefully there will be more to add soon
Home Place Structures: Garden Shed and Playhouse
Some of these look like they’re more for kids, but others look like they’re more for adults! Typically no taller than 10′, these fantasy sheds are built to order and shipped to your location. Plywood floors and wood-framing give them a natural feeling. These come with normal sized “adult doors” as well as shorter “kids doors”.
These are made by Suncast, which also makes more grown-up structures including pool houses, gazebos, pergolas, pavillions, garages, sunhouses and bridges, which will be featured in another post.
Wall Control: Pegboard and Storage System
*Modular living *Many hook and shelf options *Good pricing *Attractive
This shelving and storage system looks cooler than traditional pegboards (especially the galvanized finish), for use in home, kitchen, garage, utility and industrial applications. Huge variety of hooks for storing tools, utensils, and interlocking shelving. The website has lots of photos to stimulate your creativity. Starter kits available within their online store, with additional parts available via catalog.

Onine Amish Furniture: Featuring The Perfect Adirondack
*Tons of selection *Designs from traditional to modern *Reasonable pricing *Quality
This is another reason for the inspiration for USGroove’s inception! We had looked over literally hundreds or thousands of Adirondack chairs on Amazon. None of the designs quite did it for us- concerning features, design appeal and pricing. But after discovering this beauty, it was all over! This is just a tad more than the wonky imports, and has a no-frills front beam (straight!) a good posture, curved back, stainless hardware, and even an adjoining table platform if that’s what you’d like. Have a look at their other traditional -yet timeless wooden furniture.
Adirondacks available at Online Amish Furniture

Sterilite: Plastic Storage and Utility
*Available everywhere *Low prices *Wide selection
Much to my surprise recently we were looking at a small upright toolshed and we assumed would all be imported, so I didn’t even bother looking for Made in USA on this one. So we picked our favorite, which happened to be on sale at OSH for the lowest price – and as we were standing in line I saw the little magical label “Made in USA”!!
Assembly instructions were clear and identifiers were even molded gently onto the components themselves. Whoever packed our box seemed to be low on coffee, as ours was missing two of the inner shelves, but it was clear on the instructions to contact Sterilite directly by phone or email to request any missing parts. So I emailed and received a reply quickly and the shelves about 4 days later.
