Deva Lifewear: Comfortable, Functional Cotton Clothing
:: Made with love :: Huge selection :: Great prices :: For the whole family ::
Deva has been making clothes in the USA for a long time now. Starting as a small network of at-home sewing team, they have evolved into a larger organization that is still dedicated to high quality, high value comfortable clothing, and still maintains an eco-conscious philosophy. Garments vary from shirts, skirts, shorts and pants, to socks, underwear, hosiery and yoga clothes, to hats, vests, jackets and carpets. Special categories for work and travel too, and there are even a few models for kids.
Most fabrics are cotton, but some items include hemp-cotton blends. My father has worn his Deva cotton jacket almost every day for the past decade – he says it is his favorite clothing, and a few designs are unisex.
Check in often, because their clearance and sales prices are ridiculously low!

Z Becky Brown: Handbags with Interchangeable Designs
:: Great prices :: Lid and handle options :: Change inserts for new look :: Great gift!
Z Becky Brown is similar to the Onesole Shoe company – it is founded on the principle of choosing a base product, then bringing it to life with interchangeable patterns. This is great from a fashion standpoint, a budget standpoint, AND is good for the environment, in that the inserts can renew the product’s life without too many resources.
If you are in gift mode for that special lady in your life, consider the ultimate combination of a Z Becky Brown bag AND a Onesole shoe.
On the website, I recommend using the left-hand navigation for a more timely experience. Choose your handle and lid combination, then choose your inserts. The pattern and color choice is very high quality – patterns are fun, modern, and sophisticated – and are sure to complement anyone’s wardrobe or shoes-of-the-day (lol).
Loll Designs: Modern Recycled Plastic Outdoor Furniture
:: TONS of selection :: Many quality colors :: Eco-conscious :: Affordable
Modern clean 100% Recycled HDPE furniture including a few tubular steel pieces – very tasteful design for outdoors or indoors with sophisticated, yet bold and fun proportions! Adirondack, Italian, and Modernism-inspired and infused tables, chairs, benches, planters and containers. Loll’s polyethylene material is derived from sheet stock and is non-porous, which keeps the elements out (vs other companies using more porous extruded material) and UV protection is added, resisting color fade. All products are, in turn, 100% recyclable.
Loll strives to be green wherever possible – from natural ventilation and day lighting to opting for wind power through their power company. Their website even shows the number of recycled milk jugs that go into each product. Made in USA.
Check in often, as their product list grows quickly! Consumer or commercial channels.

Sauder: Affordable Furniture with Progressive Designs
:: Huge selection :: Compare to IKEA :: Modern styling :: 97% recycled
Sauder has been making self-assembly furniture for over 70 years. I was pleasantly surprised at their new and latest designs, easily viewable with very large product photos that include drawings with dimensions on their website. If you have been considering an IKEA purchase, I recommend that you give Sauder a look to see what they’ve been up to! Most reviews are favorable, noting sturdiness and excellent value.
Sauder makes their engineered wood and packaging with 97% recycled material, and were founded on the principles of sterwardship and producing environmentally responsible products.
I was also surprised to see that Sauder makes garage and closet storage systems, as well as work chairs (although check to see country of origin), and include modern or traditional furniture collections, and a fascinating “WoodTrac” ceiling wood paneling system. Their lines cover office computer desks, TV stands, bookcases, side tables, coffee tables, cabinets and storage, seating, craft furniture, bedroom sets, and much more. Made in USA!
Thousands of their products on Amazon, most with 4 or 5 star reviews!

Chromcraft: Contract Seating, Chairs and Tables
::Bulk orders only ::Great designs ::Soy-based foam ::Huge variety
Chromcraft has been making seating in the USA for over 50 years in their 500,000 square foot facility. They have a huge variety of task seating for offices, universities, airports, hosptitals or any large operation that needs tons of quality chairs. I am impressed with the variety of chair form factors that even include drafting-style seating in many of their collections.

They are certified by the Greenguard Institute for their low emitting products and materials. A full page on their website lists their green and recycling practices in detail, as well as their packaging and chrome plating practice. Interestingly their metal is almost entirely made from recycled vehicles!
I really like their selection and hope that one day they will make their cool seating available in small quantities. The architectural bench seating would be awesome anywhere.

Mio: Origami Inspired Modern Furniture
::Talented designers ::Great prices :: Modular and responsible ::Custom printing
Mioculture.com: great furniture design using responsible materials with super-flexible options for the modular lifestyle, using cool origami-style furniture and forms as their inspiration. Since my last check-in with Mio, they have blown me away with their new offerings! Not only have they introduced awesome new interchangeable hanging lamps, but their new “Custom Cabinets” are highly configurable Maple plywood cabinets, lightly finished – and can be customized by uploading a design of your own, or your favorite Ansel Adams photo. Single-wide or double-wide options, with or without doors or drawers.

Mio puts their heart into everything they do, choosing manufacturing locations for their proximity to their studio as well as for their practices and labor conditions. Their designs allow for maximum efficiency in the use of materials, for example their origami side-table, bent into form using two simple sheets of metal. Almost all products are made in the USA, however some of the paper wall tiles are mixed US and Mexico sourcing.
