Spiritex: Organic Clothes for the Whole Family
*Organic, local, sustainable *Very reasonable prices *Unique designs
Of special note, this clothing line is sewn in Asheville, NC. Some of the classic staples with multiple color options, as well as some unique pieces that might start a conversation. Surprisingly, they even make a huge variety of onesies for babies, and youth tee-shirts. The men’s Hunter Jacket is under $100, is unique and classy, and they can still make a profit on it. This makes you wonder why the retail stores are selling imports at an even higher price than this! American clothing is COMPETITIVE!!!
Select handbags and accessories round off the collections.
American Giant: Crafted Sweatshirts and Tees
*Thick material *Well-crafted *Nice Details *Reasonable prices
Super thick and high-quality sweatshirts, zippered and pullover with hoods or no hoods. Short zippers, long zippers, v-neck sweatshirts and t-shirts. SF-based clothing company gives great details about the clothes you are about to buy: weight of material, details of various components, and *my favorite*, the size and weight of the model actually wearing the clothing in the product photos.
American Giant puts as much love into their craft as most Beer-makers. They claim this is the last hooded sweatshirt you’ll ever need. Look out, Zuckerberg!
Thanks for the pointer, Steve W.

All American Clothing Co: Great Designs and Prices!
All American Clothing.com: Another great American denim company that makes jeans with both odd and even sized waists… great for my ego during times of expanding waistline, I can upsize with single units vs only even-sized units. First I will mention the fantastic prices, then I will mention the great selection of jeans, hoodies, jackets, sweatshirts and many types of jeans for men and women. This company was founded by a man who worked for a jeans company that began outsourcing to Mexico – and that really bothered him, so he started his own family company. The All American Guarantee? “If you are not 100% satisfied with your purchase, return any item within 90 days for a refund or exchange…NO QUESTIONS ASKED!”
With 15K+ likes on Facebook, it must be good stuff! All designs are timeless favorites. Some of the outerwear is made by King Louie America (which sells mostly to distributors).

Bonus: the first jean company in the world that can trace your jean all the way back to the American farmers who grew the cotton that makes up your jeans.
Bamboosa: Bamboo Fiber Blend Clothing for All
*Luxurious *Sustainable *Super-soft and gentle *Super-absorbent *Variety
Bamboosa: Bamboo fiber blend clothing for men, women and babies – made in the Carolinas and luxurious-to-the-touch. Not just Yoga clothes! For men they have 70/30 blend Tees (which I will feature here), socks, ski and skull caps, and boxers. For women they have skirts, long and short sleeve tops (nice v neck), yoga pants and sleepwear slips. For the family they have soap made with bamboo powder and essential oils.
Bonus reasons: ring-spun yarn that yields the softest and finest knit fabric, chlorine-free bleaching process, energy and water-efficient dyes, packaging is all recycled. Sustainable harvesting, gentle on your and your baby’s skin… it absorbs up to 4x that of cotton.
Gotta give them props for their outreach and encouragement to explore other US made sites! https://www.bamboosa.com/engage.php?PID=37

American Apparel
*Huge selection *Stores available to try before you buy
I had thought that American Apparel was simply imported goods, branded towards young Americans… until I discovered all the clothing is made here in the USA! Upon visiting their local store, you can tell there is a really youthful and energetic vibe – as well as a range of clothing from sexy to sophisticated, from sweatshirts to lingerie and hosiery.
They have a huge selection of clothes and footwear for young men and women, producing one million garments per week! They also provide more than 10,000 jobs around the world, and are located in Downtown Los Angeles. In my opinion their prices are juuuust a bit higher than imported clothing, but still very reasonable.
