We’re not here to tell you why to buy American and local goods. You are here because you already know why!  We are here to help you sift through all the noise and focus on the types of goods America does well, and to assist you on your next online shopping mission…  and in the process, build a community that believes in US-made products and contributes to the regeneration of the US economy.

We’ve done a lot of research and provided insight and reviews hilighting additional American goods… products that don’t have to be Amish or simple wood-block toys.  The US makes some sophisticated stuff!

US Groove is here to help guide you into thinking US-made first, and to be the friendly reminder that you can start here – and if you don’t find what you’re looking for, then it is okay to look elsewhere.  After all, the world imports our goods as well.

US Groove is based in Palo Alto, CA. The core team consists of Eric Brian Smith and Mary Tayloe Yang, affectionately known as “Meric”.   Eric has a background in Industrial Design, Architecture, and 3D Computer Graphics.  Mary has a background in Clothing and Textiles, Merchandising, Creative Services,  and Management.
