Klein makes over 3000 tools for professionals, the majority of which are made in their nine American factories. They make many variations of all the classic standard tools, as well as specialty products for the Journeyman. Very reasonable prices make Klein in the running for most tools, and their leather bags and accessories are beautiful (careful for imports in this category). A few surprises include an awesome bottle opener as well as folding knives (some made in Chicago, some imported).
Although some tools are clearly printed “Made in USA”, others are more difficult to see – which likely means they are imported. Hopefully one day they will produce their Vise Grip alternative in the US. Have a look on Amazon, they get pretty solid reviews with their American made items!
